AMP Energy and EPS Energy gain approval for South Australian Solar Projects

EPS is proud to have supported AMP Energy in securing planning approval for key variations to the Bungama and Robertstown Solar Projects in South Australia.

The approved amendments relate to refinements in project design and staging, including changes to the location and scale of substations and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), adjustments to solar array layouts, and modifications to construction sequencing. These variations were developed to optimise project efficiency, enhance environmental outcomes, and support long-term operational performance.

Throughout the assessment process, EPS worked closely with AMP Energy, local communities, and government authorities to ensure the projects respond to regulatory requirements and local priorities. The developments are expected to deliver ongoing regional benefits, including employment opportunities during construction and operation, and broader economic investment.

The approval of these variations represents an important milestone in the continued delivery of large-scale renewable energy infrastructure in South Australia. The Bungama and Robertstown projects are positioned to play a meaningful role in supporting Australia’s transition to a cleaner, more resilient energy system.
